Fishes of Gabon
We surveyed the ichthyological biodiversity of key regions near proposed dam sites or wetlands of international importance within the central African country of Gabon in collaboration with the Nature Conservancy and Gabon’s Agricultural and Forestry Research Institute (IRAF).
Foskett Speckled Dace
We are using samples in our collection to monitor the genetic health of the iconic population of speckled daces in Oregon's Foskett Spring, determine which stream served as its source population, and infer when dace colonized that isolated spring.
